Whimsical Woodland Bridal shoot
I put together this woodland themed wedding shoot for my end of Uni final major project.
Whimsical inspiration
This wedding inspiration was put together to inspire brides for their outdoor weddings. I picked a lovely woodland wedding venue based in Pulborough. This venue set the scene for a twilight-esque wedding, which was my first inspiration for this shoot. Another inspiration for this shoot were fairies, I wanted this shoot to have a whimsical magic feel to it, as if fairies were present and it was a fairytale.
The Florals
I opted for a wildflower bouquet for this shoot, bringing the fairy meadow to the woods. In addition to this, I sourced a flower crown to finish off the look; this was a dried flower crown, so to match these flowers to the bouquet best, I dried the bouquet; not only is this a more affordable option, but they also last forever. You can keep a part of your wedding day in your home forever.
The Glam
For the makeup, I opted for a glowy, bronzy bridal look. I kept the makeup soft and bright, enhancing Ember's features. For the hair, I went for boho curls for most of the looks as a freeing hairstyle and to let the flower grow as the primary focus. For the last look, I created a boho braided style.
